How AI Powers Moire
When you use Moire, your prompts are processed by AI models to generate fashion images. We use a combination of proprietary systems and third-party AI providers to deliver high-quality results.
What Happens When You Generate
- Prompt Enhancement: Your prompt may be automatically enhanced with fashion-specific terminology and styling details to improve generation quality.
- Fashion Techniques Enhancement: Your prompt is enriched with visual descriptors from our database of 370+ curated fashion techniques: silhouette specifications, construction details, styling context.
- Content Safety Check: Your prompt is analyzed to ensure it complies with our content guidelines.
- Image Generation: The enhanced prompt is sent to our AI image generation provider to create your fashion image.
- Storage: Your prompt and generated image are stored in your private account.

Data Retention
We retain your AI-related data as follows:
- Prompts: Stored indefinitely as part of your generation history, unless you delete them.
- Generated Images: Stored indefinitely in your private portfolio, unless you delete them.
- Reference Images: Stored for the duration needed to process your request, then retained in your account if you choose to save them.
You can delete your prompts and generated images at any time from your portfolio. Account deletion removes all associated data. See our Privacy Policy for complete data retention details.
Training & Model Improvement
Yes, we may use your prompts and generated images to improve our service.
This includes:
- Improving prompt enhancement algorithms
- Training internal models for better fashion understanding
- Analyzing usage patterns to improve the product
- Quality assurance and content moderation improvements
We do not share your data with third parties for their model training. Any training is conducted internally by Moire.
Opting Out of Training

Your Generated Content
Privacy
Your generations are private by default. Only you can see your generated images unless you explicitly choose to share them.
Ownership & Rights
Subject to our Terms of Service, you retain rights to use your generated images for personal and commercial purposes. However, please note:
- AI-generated images may have limitations on copyright protection in some jurisdictions.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.
- Generated images featuring real brand names or designer references are for creative inspiration only and should not be used in ways that infringe on third-party trademarks.
Content Moderation
All prompts are automatically screened for compliance with our Content Policy. We use a multi-layer approach:
- Keyword Filtering: Immediate blocking of prohibited terms.
- AI Moderation: OpenAI's moderation API analyzes prompts for policy violations.
- Fashion Domain Check: Ensures prompts are fashion-related.
Prompts that violate our policies are rejected and not processed. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions.
Limitations of AI
AI-generated fashion images have inherent limitations:
- Accuracy: Generated garments may not perfectly match real-world construction or proportions.
- Consistency: Results can vary between generations, even with similar prompts.
- Technical Interpretation: References to specific techniques or construction methods are interpretive, not technical specifications.
- Bias: AI models may reflect biases present in training data.
Moire is a creative tool for fashion exploration, not a replacement for professional design or pattern-making.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this AI Usage Policy as our technology and practices evolve. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Moire after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
